I hope your doctor's visit went well. 😊 I haven't read Heidi in so long I used to love it when I was younger, i would like to reread it soon! And A Little Mermaid is a firm favourite of mine, it is so sad and beautiful at the same time. 🌊

I am reading Far from the Madding Crowd by Thomas Hardy at the moment, it is my first time reading books by Hardy. I also was reading A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens this Christmas too! 📚

I am planning to read Far From The Madding Crowd this year, it'll be my first Thomas Hardy book as well!

Thankfully my nodule turned out to be benign, but this whole thing taught me to take better care of my health, so I'm grateful for that.

Also, I absolutely loved Heidi 😊

Hope your neck swelling is a minor issue for you. I sometimes read children's stories, too. I'm reading "Christmas Carol" now as well. Just finished "Robinson Crusoe," although both books are really for adults. Sometimes I like to read children's nonfiction books because they take a complicated issue and make it easier to understand.

Thank you, my neck swelling turned out to be a non cancerous nodule.

And I like your idea about reading children's non fiction, because I'm terrible at reading non fiction. Maybe if it's for children and explained very easily, I won't give them up so soon 😭

Also, I have never read Robinson Crusoé, maybe this year ✊
